Review : Prodigy by Marie Lu

“Injured and on the run, it has been seven days since June and Day barely escaped Los Angeles and the Republic with their lives. Day is believed dead having lost his own brother to an execution squad who thought they were assassinating him. June is now the Republic’s most wanted traitor. Desperate for help, they turn to the Patriots – a vigilante rebel group sworn to bring down the Republic. But can they trust them or have they unwittingly become pawns in the most terrifying of political games?” (Goodreads)

This was such a fun and good sequel. I think i even like it better than the first one. We have action and romance. I really enjoy Marie Lu’s writing. She keeps it simple but creates a wonderful world. The story is far from original, but it is still very enjoyable amd interesting. Day and June are great characters. I love everything about them. The other character did feel a bit empty to me. I didn’t dislike them, i just don’t care at all about them.
Also, thank god for the blue writing. Legend had gold letters for Day’s POV and it was annoying. The blue was easier to read.

Prodigy : 4/5
