Review : if i stay by Gayle Forman

“In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen -year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heartwrenchingly beautiful, this will change the way you look at life, love, and family. Now a major motion picture starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Mia’s story will stay with you for a long, long time.” (Goodreads)

I walked by this book so many times at the book shop and never picked it up. I don’t know why because it was such a beautiful adventure. First of all the writing is wonderful, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I really want to check out the other books by Gayle Forman. It’s hard to describe the story, there is no real storyline, it is a chronicle of Mia’s life. She has flashbacks of what she once had and it’s pretty emotional at some parts. Mia’s voice was so perfect. You can really connect with her.
The characters are wonderful. They felt so real. The relationships in this books are all A+.
It was a quick and interesting read, very enjoyable, very touching. I can’t wait for the movie.

If i stay : 4/5

I’ve been meaning to read this.. I always read the book before I watch the movie because the movie almost always fails at representing the book properly :/
