Review : The Dream Thieves ( The Raven Cycle #2) by Maggie Stiefvater

“Ronan Lynch has secrets. Some he keeps from others. Some he keeps from himself.
One secret: Ronan can bring things out of his dreams.
And sometimes he’s not the only one who wants those things.
Ronan is one of the raven boys – a group of friends, practically brothers, searching for a dead king named Glendower, who they think is hidden somewhere in the hills by their elite private school, Aglionby Academy. The path to Glendower has long lived as an undercurrent beneath town. But now, like Ronan’s secrets, it is beginning to rise to the surface – changing everything in its wake.” (Goodreads)

Okay, so i’m just gonna say it : The Dream Thieves lives up to its predecessor and surpasses expectations in every possible way. I loved it.
The two main things that made this book so perfect are the characters and the writing.
Those Raven Boys have my heart. I just want to know what will happen to them. I feel everything they feel. I want to hug them, laugh with them, protect them and sometimes, punch them in the face and scream WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING. The friendships in this book are beautiful. They care so much about eachothers. Gosh. Can i just reread this book already?! Oh. And i may have a little crush on Gansey. He’s just a beautiful human being.
And Maggie Stiefvater’s writing is magical. Her words are captivating and finding things like : “he was wasted on dreams” makes me smile. I really enjoy her writing style. She is capable of creating a fascinating story with action, mystery and romance. There is so much happening and it’s all done so well. I love this world, these characters, this story, this book.

The Dream Thieves : 4.5/5
