“A manga-adaption to the prequel of Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series, The Infernal Devices is the story of Tessa Gray, a sixteen-year-old American girl traveling alone to Victorian London who runs afoul of the city’s sordid supernatural underworld. Rescued by the Shadowhunters of the London Institute, Tessa quickly finds herself caught up in an intrigue that may very well destroy her new friends – including the two enigmatic young men, Jem and Will, who have taken her under their wing. ” (goodreads)
I won’t be saying much about this book because i have already done a review on Clockwork Angel the novel.
At first, i found it a bit hard to get into the manga version. I think maybe it’s because i love the novel so much and couldn’t stop comparing the two books. But the more i read the more i enjoyed. I feel like they cut off a lot of informations, so i would recommend to read the novel before jumping into the manga. It was fun reading this story again and seeing Jem. Gosh, i love him so very much. The art is great. Not gonna lie, Will and Jem are both so hot, haha.
So, overall i enjoyed it and i will be reading the two other books.
