“Cruel miser Ebeneezer Scrooge has never met a shilling he doesn’t like…and hardly a man he does. And he hates Christmas most of all. When Scrooge is visited by his old partner, Jacob Marley, and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come, he learns eternal lessons of charity, kindness, and goodwill. Experience a true Victorian Christmas!”
it was my first Dickens book and the only problem I had with it was the writing. Some of the sentences were very long and it made it hard to keep up. I wasn’t always sure what he was trying to say, i was a bit confused at some part.
but the story is amazing. Even if i heard about this tale so many times, i still really enjoyed it. The message in this book is perfect for this time of the year. Loved the ending and how much Scrooge has changed.
