Review : Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

“At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter’s cheating on her–and she is left trying to decide what to do next.
Sydney becomes captivated by Ridge, her mysterious neighbor. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…”

This book was a roller coaster of emotions… at some point i was actually in pain with tears in my eyes.
and i really was not expecting to be enjoying it that much. I love everything about this book. The story was beautiful and original, don’t think i ever read a contemporary that made me feel so emotionally torn before. I could understand what the characters where feeling. I think Colleen Hoover’s writing plays a big part in my love for this book. she knows how to make a story come a life. the characters felt so real. i love them all. i also loved how different those characters were, no clichΓ© just some very interesting people.
I have to say that i absolutely LOVE the music aspect of this book. It was so beautiful to read.

I still have so much more to say, but i’m not going to. You need to read this book without knowing much because there is some interesting twists that i don’t want you to know, haha. go read it.

*also, you should listen to the soundtrack while you read this book There’s an album called Maybe Someday by Griffin Peterson available on Itunes with all the songs from the book. It’s awesome!*

Maybe Someday : 4.5/5
