As Celaena tries to untangle the mysteries buried within the glass castle, she can trust no one, not even her supposed allies Crown Prince Dorian, Captain of the Guard Chaol, and foreign princess Nehemia. Then, an unspeakable tragedy shatters Celaena’s world. She must decide once and for all where her loyalties lie . . . and whom she will fight for. ”

oh my god.

Oh my freaking god. You know i don’t even like fantasy novels that much, but gosh, this series is absolutely magnificent. I’ve been thinking all day about what to write in this review, it’s hard because all I have to say is that it was perfect.

First, the storyline is this sequel is even better than the first one (yes, it is possible!)! We get some very interesting turns in this book and i am super excited to see how things will go from now. The whole magic aspect becomes much more important and it adds a very nice touch to the story. The last part was incredible! The romance in this book was sooooo wonderful. Chaol and Celaena were extraordinary together, they have a great connection. i really enjoyed the fact that they took their time, that they grew to know each other over the weeks they had together. Their relationship made more sens to me than Celaena and Dorian. Celaena is one of the most fascinating main character I have read about. Beautiful, powerful, strong, fierce, and refreshing. I love her. I like that even if she is an assassin, she is also very girly. Chaol is my new book boyfriend. I LOVE HIM AND EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM. To be honest, I enjoyed pretty much every character of this series so far. Maas is really capable of making them interesting and real. The writing style is really gripping, making it very hard to put down.

Perfect. This book is perfect. If you haven’t read Throne of Glass or the sequel, Crown of Midnight, do it. Do it now, i promise you will not regret it!!!!

Crown of midnight : 4.5/5
