Review : Nimona by Noelle Stevenson

“Nimona is an impulsive young shapeshifter with a knack for villainy. Lord Ballister Blackheart is a villain with a vendetta. As sidekick and supervillain, Nimona and Lord Blackheart are about to wreak some serious havoc. Their mission: prove to the kingdom that Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin and his buddies at the Institution of Law Enforcement and Heroics aren’t the heroes everyone thinks they are.

But as small acts of mischief escalate into a vicious battle, Lord Blackheart realizes that Nimona’s powers are as murky and mysterious as her past. And her unpredictable wild side might be more dangerous than he is willing to admit.”

Well, that was unexpexted.

I knew absolutely nothing when I bought this graphic novel. The only reason why I got it, is because it was all over booktube and people were loving it.

I was not expecting the feels and the pain. I was not expecting to smile and laugh and i really was not expecting to find myself counting the minutes until my next break at work so i could read more.

The storyline is so fun! Super entertaining and funny,  LOVED IT. The ending broke my heart a little, but i still think it was a fantastic ending. The art work was great and enjoyable, i really like it. My favorite part was the characters. I love it when we get to follow a vilain around, it’s so great. Obviously, the more you read, the more you learn stuff about Blackheart and you realize things are not that simple. he was such a wonderful character. Nimona was simply perfect. I love her. She’s funny and extremely entertaining. How can you not like her? I had so much fun watching her and Blackheart together. I want mooooore.

I think I found a new favorite, if you want to start reading graphic novels, you should really check this one out, it is sooo good! And if you are already a fan of graphic novel, enjoy this one.

Nimona : 5/5
