“Ben could date anyone he wants, but he only has eyes for the new girl — sarcastic free-spirit, Ani. Luckily for Ben, Ani wants him too. She’s everything Ben could ever imagine. Everything he could ever want.
But that all changes after the party. The one Ben misses. The one Ani goes to alone.
Now Ani isn’t the girl she used to be, and Ben can’t sort out the truth from the lies. What really happened, and who is to blame?
Ben wants to help her, but she refuses to be helped. The more she pushes Ben away, the more he wonders if there’s anything he can do to save the girl he loves.”
I knew absolutely nothing when i started reading this little book, but i’m so glad i decided to pick it up. It was a good story, a very good story. Dark and sad and really hard during some parts but still a very good story. I found this book to be incredibly well written. The characters development is perfect. Desir made a wonderful job creating Ben and Ani. They are both very human, very realistic and fun to see together at the begining. The more I read, the more I saw how Ben and Ani were changing. The more i wanted them to be okay. I cared about them. The ending was okay, I kind of wish we had a bit more of a closure, but i still feel like it was very realistic amd heartbreaking. It was a bit of a shock, like something was missing.
i think this book is important. The subject is hard, but I still enjoyed reading it.
