Review : Suicide notes for beautiful girls by Lynn Weingarten

“June barely has time to mourn the death of her best friend Delia, before Delia’s ex-boyfriend convinces her Delia was murdered, and June is swept into a tangle of lies, deceit, and conspiracy.”

This was an interesting read. i think that the storyline was far from original. Girl kill herself, best friend finds out it’s not a suicide and etc. I saw this a couple time before, but this one was actually pretty fun. There is a lot going on and by alot I mean suicide, murder, rape, drugs. So, for me, it was a bit messy, touching all of those aspects without really developing any of them. It’s also full of twists and turns that makes the story go all over the place, you never really know what you about to read, which was great… but sometimes, many twists is too many twits, right? The characters were okay, i felt like they were not that great but enjoyable enough to keep me reading. I did care for some of them, i have a soft spot for Sebastian. he was interesting. I really wish we had more of the back story of the people in his group. I was intrigued by all of them. June was an okay character. Interesting but sometimes a bit stupid. her friendship with Delia was so toxic and i always enjoy reading those. This one was a good one, i liked having the flashbacks and Delia’s POV too. The writing style was good, i loved it from the start. I know some people dislike the ending, but i did, even if i kind of expected it. I won’t say more about the end, but if you did read it, let me know what tou think of it.

Overall, i really enjoyed this book. It was fast-paced and addictive. Plus, i have to give it some points for the fantastic cover and great title.
