Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.
Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things.
But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them?
Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated.
Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.
But what if they can’t quite nail a first date . . . or a second first date . . . or a third?
What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work . . . and Ben doesn’t try hard enough?
What if life really isn’t like a Broadway play?
But what if it is?
Finally. FINALLY I HAVE FINISHED A BOOK. my god. -.-‘
And it’s a book by two of my favourite authors, so lets just says, i was sooo freaking hyped for this one.
overall, i really enjoyed it. Was i expecting abit more? Yes, maybe. Did i overhyped this story to much in my mind? yes.
The storyline itself felt a bit….flat? i guess. it’s abit hard to explain exactly how i feel about it, it was definitely a cute love story but i felt like it was missing all the emotions i usually get from reading a Silvera book and all the fun from Becky’s story. This one didn’t hit any of those, which left me dried. It was cute, i absolutely love the characters. Both Ben nd Arthur were adorable in their own way. My heart belongs to Arthur in this one, he is such a sweet baby, i want to wrap him up in a warm blanket. The side characters were also freaking lovable. They really add a fun touch to this book. I didn’t dislike anybody which made this book 100% better. The writing style was definitely up my alley. Written by two people i simply love, i knew wouldn’t be a problem. As for the ending, i don’t want to say any spoilers. I guess i understand why some people would hate it, but for me, it felt like a good one.
What if it’s us : 4/5
