SPOILER ALERT.

hi, i’m Sarah and i love horror movie and i have a horror podcast. This week we watched BETTER WATCH OUT and i wanted to share the notes i took while watching the film.

The movie follows a kid who has a crush on his babysitter and he has a whole plan to impressed her, but soon the evening take a dark turn when they get an unwanted visitor.

  • The scene were they are watching a movie and you see a shadow looking at them from the window is behind them is creepy. it’s also 10 times more effective than any jump scares of gory scenes, but it works. You get a chill thinking that someone is looking at them from their window and they have absolutely no clue
  • The first part of the movie is so uncomfortable seeing a kid trying to flirt with a teenager is oufff….unsettling.
  • There some great creepy moment in the first half of it when you still have no idea what is happening a lots of tense moment that keep you on the edge of your sit.

The fact that they hear a sounds upstairs decided to lock up the front door instead of going out is duuuuuumb.

  • and then we have a twice and the movie takes a whole new turn and i’m sooo here for it. it is such an original story.
  • The acting is so freaking good, especially from the little psycho himself. The way he goes from sweet, to drunk to completely insane is masterful.
  • Really entertaining
  • I love the home alone kill with the paint. it is great.

Solid 4/5
